What You'll Learn

This course prepares learners to manage the staffing, recruitment, performance, and development of staff in a team. On completion of this course, the learner will be able to manage performance, development, and engage the team for optimal performance in meeting organisational goals and objectives. The Learning Units are sequenced by topics across the LUs. Each topic interacts with and affects the others and all should fit with the organisation’s strategic plan. For example, how the learner supports recruitment processes (LU2) and identify skill development needs (LU3) depends on job’s specific duties and responsibilities based on work plans aligned with organisation’s strategic goals (LU1). A team member’s performance and appraisal (LU5) depends on not only the team member’s motivation to perform but also how well his or her learning needs are identified that supports skill development (LU3). Organisation’s strategic plan (LU1) impacts diverse team management and leadership across cultures (LU4)

  • Be able to read and write English at a proficiency level equivalent to the ES WSQ WPL level 5 Required Years of Experience in Relevant Domain
